Key Responsibilities

 Provide strategic oversight for day-to-day accounting operations supporting Canadian clients

 Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and bookkeepers working on T1,T2 tax returns,

compilations, review and audit Engagements, and bookkeeping

 Implement workflows, SOPs, and internal controls to drive efficiency, consistency, and scalability

 Conduct quality reviews of financial statements, tax filings (T1,T2, GST/HST), and compilation, review

and audit engagements

 Serve as the point of escalation for client concerns, ensuring timely resolutions and proactive

communication

 Partner with firm leadership to optimize client onboarding, staffing, and service delivery models

 Stay up-to-date with Canadian compliance standards and industry best practices

 Lead performance appraisals, talent development, and training initiatives for junior staff

Who You Are

 A CPA/CA (Canada/India) or equivalent with at least 5–8 years of progressive experience in Canadian

accounting and taxation

 Expertise in T1Individual and T2 corporate tax returns, compilation, review and audit engagements,

and year-end bookkeeping

 Proven team leadership or practice management experience within a Canadian public accounting

environment (remote/offshore experience is a plus)

 Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Caseware, Taxprep,TaxCycle, and other cloud

accounting tools

 Strong understanding of Canadian tax law, GAAP/ASPE(Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises),

and compliance standards

 Ability to manage a remote team while driving accountability, mentorship, and quality control

 Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client relationship management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
