Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tax accounting and corporate finance, with the ability to navigate complex tax regulations and provide strategic guidance. This role involves overseeing tax compliance, planning, and reporting, while ensuring adherence to GAAP and other regulatory requirements. The Tax Manager will also play a key role in financial analysis and reporting, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Salary adjusted based on experience.

Duties

  • Manage all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for the organization, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare Corporate and Personal Tax Returns
  • Prepare and interpret financial statements, including balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis.
  • Oversee corporate accounting functions, including accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to support investment decisions and asset management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with securities law and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on technical accounting concepts and best practices.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of tax accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with Corporate and Individual Tax Return Preparation
  • Experience with double entry bookkeeping and account reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with non-profit accounting practices is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in financial report writing and preparation of financial statements.
  • Understanding of budgeting processes and financial planning methodologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
