What You'll Do

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, and other entities.
• Assist clients with tax planning and compliance strategies.
• Research tax issues and develop practical recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
• Mentor and support junior staff members in their professional development.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Identify issues proactively and recommend solutions to clients and team members.
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm.

QualificationsRequired

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on taxation.
• Strong knowledge of tax preparation procedures, documentation standards, and review processes.
• Experience with federal and state tax compliance and tax planning strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and manage deadlines effectively.
• Commitment to outstanding client service and teamwork.

Preferred

• Experience with Trust and Estate taxation.
• Prior experience mentoring or training staff.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Tumwater, WA 98512
