About the Role

iREX Software Solutions is seeking a Senior Tax Preparer with in-depth knowledge of Canadian taxation to join our growing finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing and filing T1 personal tax returns, T2 corporate tax returns, and handling GST, HST, and PST filings across multiple provinces.

You’ll work closely with clients and our internal bookkeeping team to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely tax submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file T1 (Personal) and T2 (Corporate) tax returns for Canadian clients.
• Manage GST/HST/PST filings and ensure timely submissions with CRA and provincial authorities.
• Review bookkeeping records to ensure data accuracy before tax filing.
• Handle tax planning, adjustments, and notices of assessment.
• Communicate with clients regarding missing documents, tax queries, and filing updates.
• Stay updated with CRA tax laws, deadlines, and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with internal audit and bookkeeping teams for reconciliation and compliance reviews.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Canadian taxes (T1, T2, GST/HST/PST).
• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax codes and CRA compliance.
• Proficiency in TaxCycle, Profile, or similar Canadian tax software.
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client files.
• CPA or completion of Canadian Taxation courses is an asset.

Pay: Rs160,000.00 per month
