Senior Technical Account Manager – Industrial Water Treatment

Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager to lead end-to-end execution of industrial water treatment projects while managing customer relationships. This is a full-time role based in Gilbert, AZ, requiring frequent travel to about 9 US States & Mexico project sites, with on-site work in Gilbert when not traveling.

This position is responsible for owning projects from kickoff through completion, serving as the primary point of contact for customers, and ensuring successful technical execution. The role requires both strong engineering knowledge and the ability to manage projects and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute projects from kickoff through completion
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers
• Coordinate project schedules, site work, and deliverables
• Conduct site visits and oversee system startup and commissioning
• Analyze system data and provide technical recommendations
• Troubleshoot system performance and water chemistry issues
• Prepare reports, updates, and technical documentation
• Work with internal teams and field technicians to ensure execution
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Travel to job sites across the U.S. (frequent overnight travel required)

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or chemical engineering (required)
• 3+ years of experience in industrial water treatment or related industry
• Strong knowledge of cooling towers, boilers, and closed-loop systems
• Experience managing projects or customer-facing technical roles
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and passport (required)

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per year
