Job Summary

Nad Al Shiba Engineering Consultants is seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Architect to join our head office in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of completed UAE projects, excellent design and technical skills, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion. This role requires leadership in architectural design, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and project timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of architectural concepts, designs, and detailed drawings.
• Manage the full project lifecycle—from early design stages through construction supervision.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, Dubai Municipality regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Oversee design teams and provide technical guidance.
• Conduct design reviews, value engineering, and quality control.
• Prepare project reports, presentations, and project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 8–10 years of professional experience, with at least 6 years in Dubai/UAE.
• Proven experience delivering commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE codes, authority approval procedures, and local construction practices.
• Proficiency in Revit, BIM, SketchUp, and other design tools is mandatory.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
