Study detailed design drawings, preliminary shop drawings, specifications, BOQ, RFIs, and correspondence to consider all project aspects during execution.
Assist in Providing technical documents and layouts to the construction team and subcontractors as needed.
Follow up on shop drawing submittals and materials submittals from the main contractor, prioritize requirements as per the project execution plan, and identify any missing or delayed submissions.
Provide technical inputs and updates from site conditions to the main contractor for incorporation into final shop drawings and composite layouts.
Review mechanical/electrical/civil material submittals, validating them against submitted shop drawings layouts.
Participate and assist in material take-off preparation with actual site measurements and track material requisition status.
preparation of technical and status reports required by the engineering manager and site manager.
Collaborate with the site management team, internal departments, PMC, and the client representatives.
Validate the bill of quantities according to the latest shop drawings and design modifications.
Ensure the construction team accurately reflects site changes on red line drawings for the preparation of as-built drawings.
Requirements
:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering.
5 to 7 years of experience in large commercial/industrial projects as a Technical Office Engineer.
Capability of proposing solutions to technical issues and implementing design updates.
Ability to prepare materials quantity take-offs and subcontractor invoicing.
Advanced knowledge of common and relevant engineering software tools.
English: proficient in reading and writing.
Very good communication skills and interpersonal abilities
