Al Watania is hiring an experienced Senior Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join its plastic manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing plastic processing machinery to ensure continuous production with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plastic manufacturing machinery (e.g., injection molding, blow molding, extrusion machines).
• Diagnose mechanical faults and ensure timely repair to minimize production interruptions.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Supervise junior technicians and provide technical guidance when needed.
• Maintain daily maintenance logs and machine history records.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and plant procedures.
• Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor and production team for timely issue resolution.
• Perform emergency maintenance as required to ensure plant uptime.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the plastic manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience with plastic processing machines (injection, blow, extrusion).
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Team player with good communication skills.
