Senior Test Engineer

About the job:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Test Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our products. Your responsibilities will include planning, executing, and reporting on tests, identifying issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

This position will

• Monitor and collect business KPIs, PM and SDLC metrics. Identify risks and improvement points at each stage.
• Contribute to Turkish Technology Quality Management System to maintain general quality standards, and department based processes.
• Guide and coach software project teams for process enhancement, tools, and implementation of best practices, and continuous improvement.
• Support process execution of software development projects and business interaction to improve efficiency & quality.
• Conduct audits to check process compliance, cyber security for the software development projects based on defined process.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions with teams to take & track actions for the problems & possible problems by using problem solving methods.
• Manage knowledge & continuous improvement activities at the department level and build the culture in the teams.
• Organize trainings for the project team members about SDLC and project process.

How do we describe the perfect match?

• Minimum of 5+ years hands on experience in QA/Test Engineering
• Good knowlodge of Software Development and Test Lifecycle Knowledge
• Experience of test and defect management processes using Jira , Xray etc.
• Good technical knowledge of platforms, web services and APIs.
• Experience of SOAP and RESTful Service testing with SoapUI,PostMan etc
• Knowing concepts like agile testing, continuous delivery, behavior-driven development (BDD).
• Experience with various load testing tools like Jmeter, Locust and any other Performance Monitoring tools is a plus
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills, along with issues triaging and debugging test failures.
• Demonstrable ability to balance multiple priorities and communicate across teams.
• Very good command of English.
• Good communication skills with clear and an engaging presentation style.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and analytical skills.
• Ability to interact with different types of stakeholders from different levels.
