Senior Test Engineer

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks. Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle. Conduct regression testing on bug fixes. Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases. Analyze test results and report defects using tracking tools. Work with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Continuously improve test coverage and advocate for automated testing and best practices. Required skills and experience Programming: Proficiency in a programming language such as Java. Automation Tools: Experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, Appium, and others relevant to the role. Testing Concepts: A strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the full software development lifecycle. Frameworks: Experience in designing and building test automation frameworks. APIs: Ability to design and test APIs in addition to UI testing. Cloud & CI/CD: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD integration is often required or a plus. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential for collaboration and reporting.
