Senior Test Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests using Apache JMeter. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in performance testing for Web Applications, APIs/Web Services, and Mobile Applications, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerformance Testing & Execution

• Conduct performance testing projects using Apache JMeter for Web, API, Web Services, and Mobile Applications.
• Develop performance test plans, test strategies, workload models, and detailed performance test cases.
• Set up test environments, configure test data, and coordinate with application owners and QA teams.

Monitoring & Analysis

• Monitor and analyze system metrics such as CPU Utilization, Memory Usage, Network Usage, Garbage Collection logs, and Database performance parameters.
• Identify bottlenecks, memory leaks, connection issues, and performance degradation in applications.

Reporting & Documentation

• Generate detailed performance test summary reports for management and stakeholders.
• Prepare performance graphs, session reports, workload analysis, and validation documentation.
• Provide regular status updates on test progress and findings.

Optimization & Tuning

• Recommend optimization parameters for IIS, Apache, Tomcat Web Servers, and databases like PostgreSQL, MSSQL.
• Work closely with development and DevOps teams to resolve identified performance issues.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance objectives are met.
• Provide expert insights and guidance on performance improvement strategies.

Skills & QualificationsMust Have

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.
• Deep understanding of performance testing concepts—load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing.
• Proficiency in analyzing logs, system metrics, GC cycles, and database behavior.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, New Relic, AppDynamics, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of IIS, Apache, Tomcat servers.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MSSQL for performance tuning.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,028.98 - ₹90,585.25 per month
