Salary: Upto 1.30L per month

Contract: 6 months

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 9 AM to 7 PM IST

Job Overview:

We're looking for a highly capable, motivated "Senior Test Engineer" to join us in building world-class customer-focused software.

Our team delivers integrated software and hardware solutions, allowing all Razorpay's customers and partners to contact us for assistance as they use online payments. You would be an important part of a growing team using the latest technology to improve our customer experience across web and mobile platforms, empowering merchants to enjoy flawless online transactions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks for Backend and mobile applications using Playwright.
• Lead test reviews, author, and execute test cases.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to solve complex problems.
• Advocate and champion quality coding and best practices.
• Communicate design and test impact based on business requirements.
• Actively work closely with senior developers, understand the upcoming tasks, and plan QA activities
• Work with Business folks and understand the various use cases, and keep a constant check on test coverage
• Keep a constant check on the customer experience breakages and provide necessary inputs
• Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends, and upgrading existing practices and processes.
• Managing the final quality of the product releases
• Build Tools to improve productivity

Mandatory Qualifications:

• BE/ BS/ MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience developing and testing software.
• Proficient in any programming language Webdriver.IO Golang(preferable) /Java / Python /
• Passionate about all things automation.
• Knowledge of web service technologies (REST/SOAP/POSTMAN).
• Knowledge of Playwright or any other equivalent FE automation tool
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Self-starter who enjoys and takes pride in their work.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
• Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
• Passionate about testing, development, and design of the system
• The ability to keep current with the constantly changing technology industry.
• Good knowledge of infrastructure and tooling
• Hands-on experience with Linux / Ubuntu
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (Good to have)
• Ability to build/modify a framework based on the futuristic needs
• Good knowledge of CI/CD process and tools around it

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,550,000.00 per year
