Duties

• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to schedule pickups, deliveries, and route optimizations
• Monitor shipment statuses in real-time, proactively resolving any delays or issues that arise during transit
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, transportation laws, and company policies across all operations
• Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions
• Prepare detailed reports on transportation performance metrics and communicate findings to management
• Oversee documentation processes including shipping manifests, customs paperwork, and delivery confirmations

Experience

• Proven experience in transportation coordination or logistics management within a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) or related software tools
• Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners
• Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory management is a plus
