As a
Senior Travel and Ticketing Officer at VOLO Travels,
you will support the Ticketing Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the ticketing department while ensuring smooth and efficient handling of travel arrangements for offshore crew, employees, and management staff. This role requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where urgent requests, last-minute changes, and tight schedules are part of daily operations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in travel and ticketing operations, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Ticketing Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the ticketing department

Handle high volumes of flight, hotel, and travel-related bookings for offshore crew, employees, management staff, and executives

Coordinate closely with the Crewing Department to ensure timely issuance and modification of crew travel arrangements based on operational schedules

Process ticketing inquiries, rebookings, cancellations, refunds, and urgent travel requests efficiently

Monitor booking accuracy, fare compliance, and cost-effective travel arrangements in line with company policies

Support the supervision and guidance of ticketing staff to ensure service quality and adherence to company procedures

Ensure timely issuance of tickets and travel documents while maintaining accurate travel records

Assist in monitoring IATA-related processes, reporting requirements, and compliance procedures

Prepare operational and travel reports for management review as required

Coordinate with airlines, travel partners, and internal departments to resolve ticketing and travel-related issues

Assist in monitoring departmental performance and identifying opportunities for process improvement
-
Ensure all travel arrangements are completed accurately within required timelines despite operational pressures and last-minute changes

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling management and employee travel arrangements
Minimum Qualifications:

Must

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or any related field

Minimum of
5 years of experience in travel and ticketing operations
, preferably in the marine, or offshore industry

Strong knowledge of airline reservation and ticketing systems

Familiarity with IATA regulations, procedures, and fare rules

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Ability to work effectively under pressure
in a high-demand, fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
-
Good communication and coordination skills in English; Arabic is an advantage

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and travel management systems

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple urgent requests simultaneously
