Senior Travel Operations Manager

About the Role:

Doha continues to grow as a leading destination for international business and leisure travel, and at Kingsland Destination Management, we are dedicated to creating reliable, high-quality travel experiences for individuals, corporate clients, and group travelers. We specialize in destination services, travel coordination, hospitality partnerships, and tailored holiday experiences across regional and international markets. We are looking for a Senior Travel Operations Manager (m/f/d) who can oversee operational performance, improve travel workflows, and ensure service excellence across our travel programs.

You are not simply managing bookings and schedules; you are responsible for building efficient operational processes that deliver exceptional travel experiences. You will lead a skilled operations team, coordinate with hotels, airlines, transport providers, and tourism partners, while ensuring smooth execution of travel arrangements from planning through completion. You are the person who ensures operations remain organized, responsive, and customer-focused.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel Operations Leadership:
Manage day-to-day travel operations, ensuring bookings, schedules, itineraries, customer requests, and travel logistics are completed accurately and efficiently.

Supplier and Vendor Management:
Build and maintain strong working relationships with hotels, airlines, transportation companies, and tourism providers to ensure quality partnerships and dependable service delivery.

Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor operations coordinators and travel support staff, conduct performance reviews, and promote a culture focused on accountability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Customer Service Oversight:
Monitor travel experiences, manage escalated concerns, and implement improvements that strengthen customer trust and overall service standards.

Operational Improvement:
Analyze operational performance, identify inefficiencies, and introduce practical improvements to enhance workflow, service reliability, and operational efficiency.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:
6+ years of experience in travel operations, destination management, hospitality services, tourism operations, or a related field, including at least 2 years in a leadership or team management capacity.

Industry Expertise:
Strong understanding of travel coordination, supplier management, destination services, customer support, and travel operations planning.

Technical Skills:
Comfortable working with booking systems, CRM platforms, operational reporting tools, and travel management software.

Language Skills:
Professional English communication skills are required. Arabic language ability is considered beneficial for regional coordination and stakeholder communication.

Mindset:
You are organized, commercially aware, and solution-oriented. You know how to maintain operational efficiency while ensuring excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced travel environment.

Pay: QAR14,000.00 - QAR19,000.00 per month
