The Role: What You’ll Do

As our Senior Treasury Accountant, you will take full ownership of our treasury functions, liquidity management, and banking relationships. This is a critical role that balances meticulous day-to-day corporate accounting with forward-looking corporate financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liquidity & Cash Flow Management: Oversee daily cash positions, optimize liquidity distributions, and develop robust, long-term cash flow forecasting models.
• Banking & Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for corporate banking partners in Qatar, managing credit facilities, trade finance instruments (LCs/LGs), and corporate bank accounts.
• Financial Risk & FX Mitigation: Identify, monitor, and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange (FX) exposures and interest rate fluctuations.
• Treasury Controls & Accounting: Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for all treasury transactions, ensuring flawless journal entries, bank reconciliations, and compliance with IFRS standards.
• Strategic Reporting: Prepare and present high-level treasury performance, funding, and risk analysis reports directly to senior leadership to guide corporate investment decisions.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

• Education & Certifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. A professional certification such as CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), CMA, or CPA is highly desirable.
• Experience: 5+ years of solid experience in corporate accounting, with a minimum of 2–3 dedicated years focusing heavily on treasury and cash management.
• Banking Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Qatari banking ecosystem, corporate credit facilities, and local commercial regulations.
• Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in modern ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and expert-level MS Excel modeling skills.
• Analytical Sharpness: Outstanding problem-solving skills with a flawless attention to mathematical and analytical detail.
• Local Presence: Currently residing in Qatar with a valid, transferable QID. Ability to work full-time on-site at our office in Ar Rayyan.
