Senior UI/UX app designer

We are seeking a creative individual to lead the design of a mobile financial application. You will adapt an existing corporate design system and work closely with the product and software development team and other key stakeholders in building user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for products that align with our brand.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop concepts and designs that effectively achieve the stated objectives. Ensure they provide an excellent user experience, demonstrate proficiency in UX/UI design principles, and foster collaborative brainstorming.
• Own the full user experience of our financial applications from UX specs to polished UI designs.
• Design UI/UX wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes with accurate user flows and mockup animations.
• Collaborate on and build UI systems that can scale in production, owning them from concept to launch.
• Actively champion UI/UX trends and best practices.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
• Make intelligent adjustments based on user or stakeholder feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, UI/UX or other relevant designing field.
• More than 5 years professional experience in UI / UX Design, with an online portfolio of exceptional design and/or illustration projects.
• Experience with mobile application design
• Experience with financial application design.
• Basic understanding of banking and everyday financial technology.
• Good to have: Interest in cryptocurrency
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma or Sketch).
• Excellent creative, conceptual and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication skills including ability to articulate creative concepts and rationale for stakeholders and team.
• Collaborative mindset backed by a desire to help us make great decisions in an empathetic and respectful way.
• Ability to meet deadlines while working independently and with a team.
