Summary of the role
We are on the lookout for an experienced, creative UX designer who will be responsible for driving and delivering engaging digital experiences for products and applications from end-to-end, following a discovery, design and delivery methodology. This makes your role extremely important for our success in driving customer satisfaction and loyalty. You love working with people, giving stakeholders a sense of confidence in your capabilities as a designer by justifying and providing reasoning to anything and everything you do while delivering UI that is designed to work for our customers or employees. You are able to work with project teams regardless of the project methodology e.g. waterfall, agile, scrum, lean, etc., identifying the most efficient way to deliver for each project to maximize productivity. Drawing the perfect balance between business, development and the user is something that you are good at. You understand that UI design is a subset of UX and you are expected to understand all aspects of visual design, how it effects UX and demonstrate it in your work
Roles and responsibilities
Discover, design and deliver UX primarily for mobile and web applications but also for any type of interface that a user could interact withDiscovery – Explore and research as much information as available in order to define personas and user journeys and capture business and user needs and goals. The extent of discovery would be based on availability, time and size of the project.Design – Design low to high fidelity wireframes using any tools at your disposable based on the complexity and size of the project at hand. The final interactive design prototype handed over to a development team must be approved by a product owner and contain all the elements required for build of the interface. Pick up existing design prototypes, understand the designer workstyle and layouts and enhance the prototypes as needed. As a senior designer you would also be required to mentor and guide designers on projects. Peer review all design with a team member and with the UX lead.Delivery- You need to provide consistent support to the development team during the development process, guiding them when required and reviewing implemented UI frequently to address issues as early as possible. Pre-UAT, all applications should be reviewed and any issues identified. Conduct and carry out usability testing during UAT to test efficiency on carrying out key tasks. Do a final review post UAT and when all issues have been addressed before providing a go ahead for release.

A senior experienced designer who has been designing for interfaces for sometime, realized the importance of usability and experience in human computer interactions and is now focused on delivering applications that have a wow factor, improve customer satisfaction and attract new customers. He shares a vision of the late Steve Jobs

Required experience and qualification
An education in visual design or communications, HCI, human factors or ergonomics or enough experience and skills to outweigh the same.Strong design thinking and visual design skills with an keen eye for detail and qualityVery good communication skills with a good command of English and you would win extra brownie points if you could do the same in Arabic.6+ years of experience in designing customer centric products and solutionsExperience with conducting business and user group sessions for interviews, brainstorming, presentations and any other agenda related to UXExperience with UX tools, techniques and resources including design tools like XD, Sketch, Invision and PrincipleA killer design portfolio that also demonstrates your design thinking and creativity Conducts periodic integrity checks to ensure that all work orders have been processed accurately.
