Senior UX Designer

*This is a full-time in office position*

APPTIUM Technologies is seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead the creation of exceptional user experiences across our digital products. In this role, you will drive design strategy, mentor team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product managers, developers, and business stakeholders—to deliver intuitive, user-centered solutions. You will own the design process from concept to implementation, ensuring that our products meet both user needs and business objectives.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead the design of complex user experiences from initial concept through development and testing, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Define and maintain design standards, systems, and guidelines to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.
• Conduct and oversee user research and usability testing, synthesizing insights into actionable design improvements.
• Translate requirements into high-quality design deliverables, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed specifications.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Mentor junior and mid-level designers, providing guidance and feedback to elevate team capabilities.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and accessibility standards throughout the organization.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve design practices.

REQUIRED BACKGROUND & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 6+ years of UX design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex projects.
• Expertise in wireframing, prototyping, and user research methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of HTML/CSS; familiarity with JavaScript is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders.
• Experience in creating and managing design systems.
• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor team members.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
