A Senior UX Designer is responsible for improving the end‑to‑end user experience of existing Knovos Discovery and GRC modules, ensuring complex legal and compliance workflows remain intuitive, reliable, and efficient. The focus is on incremental UX upgrades, usability fixes, and pattern consistency rather than full redesigns.
Required Candidate Profile
  • Experience Strategy: Maintain and refine UX standards for Discovery and GRC.
  • Research: Convert feedback from customers, CS, and sales into actionable UX improvements.
  • Interaction & UI: Design flows and screens that simplify data‑heavy, multi‑step tasks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, and PMMs to ship improvements smoothly.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Market/User Research & Feedback Handling
    • Join customer / CS calls to understand workflow pain points in Discovery and GRC.
    • Conduct Market/Competitive research to identify product-market gaps.
    • Review tickets, support queries, and usage analytics to identify UX issues.
    • Consolidate insights into UX problem statements and small improvement backlogs.
  • Interaction & Visual Design
    • Create task flows, wireframes, and updated UI for prioritized areas (filters, review panels, dashboards, approvals, etc.).
    • Ensure consistency with existing design system, patterns, and behaviors.
    • Provide responsive layout guidance where relevant (web app).
  • Delivery & Collaboration
    • Work with Product Managers to refine scope and acceptance criteria for UX changes.
    • Partner with front‑end and back‑end developers to ensure accurate implementation.
    • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and QA support for UX items.
  • Measurement & Iteration
    • Define simple UX success checks (drop in support tickets, fewer clicks, better completion rate).
    • Run quick hallway / remote usability checks for high‑impact changes.
    • Maintain a rolling “UX improvements log” with before/after snapshots.
