We’re looking for a Senior UX Researcher who thrives in an agency environment, someone who can balance rigour with speed, insight with action, and collaboration with independence.
As a Senior UX Researcher, you will lead research efforts across client engagements and help teams uncover deep user insights and translate them into confident product decisions.
You will work closely with UX, UI, marketing, and sales teams to ensure research actively shapes design direction and business outcomes, rather than living only in reports.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will execute research, guide thinking, and elevate research maturity across projects.
Scope research plans based on business goals, timelines, and constraints
Conduct qualitative research including in-depth interviews, contextual inquiries, field studies, usability testing, and evaluative research
Design and execute remote and in-person studies, including surveys and mixed-method research where relevant
Analyse and synthesise complex qualitative data into actionable insights and opportunity areas
Create compelling research outputs such as insight reports, personas, journey maps, frameworks, and client-ready presentations
Collaborate closely with UX and UI designers to ensure research informs design decisions
Partner with marketing and sales teams to strengthen customer understanding and positioning
Present findings confidently to clients and internal stakeholders
Mentor junior researchers and designers on research thinking and rigour
4–7+ years of hands-on UX or design research experience, ideally in an agency or consulting environment
Graduate or postgraduate degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Human Factors, Sociology, HCI, Market Research, or a related field
Strong command of qualitative research methods and the ability to apply them to real-world product challenges
Proven ability to independently plan, conduct, analyse, and present research studies
Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to move from raw data to meaningful insights
Proficiency with research and collaboration tools such as Figma, FigJam, Miro, Notion, Dovetail, or similar platforms
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfort working across multiple projects and diverse stakeholder groups
Deep curiosity about user behaviour and the motivations behind decision-making
Experience with early-stage or zero-to-one research
Familiarity with AI-assisted research workflows or experience researching AI-enabled products
Exposure to domains such as fintech, healthcare, mobility, SaaS, or consumer tech
Fluency in regional Indian languages: Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada
Experience mentoring or guiding junior researchers
