Senior UX/UI Designer (7–10+ Years Experience)

Remote – India | Working with Australia & Dubai-based Clients

Slant Agency is looking for a senior, confident UX/UI Designer who can do more than push pixels. This role is for someone who can lead UX research, confidently run client workshops, translate ambiguity into clarity, and design digital experiences that actually work.

You’ll be working remotely from India on high-impact projects for clients in Australia and Dubai, across industries including not-for-profit, healthcare, finance, enterprise, and commercial brands.

What You’ll Be Doing -

UX Strategy & Research

• Lead and facilitate UX research and design workshops with clients (stakeholders, internal teams, end users)
• Run discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, persona creation, user journeys, and problem-definition workshops
• Translate research insights into clear UX strategies and design directions
• Confidently present and defend design decisions to clients

UX/UI Design

• Design intuitive, user-centred digital experiences for websites, portals, and web applications
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Contribute to and evolve design systems and component libraries
• Ensure designs are accessible, scalable, and consistent across platforms

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with developers, project managers, and strategists across time zones
• Support smooth handover of designs to development teams
• Review builds to ensure design intent and quality are maintained

(Bonus) Front-End Awareness

• Collaborate effectively with front-end developers using a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks
• Bonus if you can build or tweak front-end components (not mandatory, but highly valued)

What We’re Looking For -

Essential

• 7–10+ years of hands-on experience in UX/UI design
• Proven experience leading UX research and running client workshops
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end UX thinking (not just pretty screens)
• High level of confidence working directly with clients
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Deep understanding of user-centred design principles
• Experience designing for complex or large-scale websites and applications
• Proficiency with tools like Figma, XD (and related UX tools)

Nice to Have

• Front-end experience (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript, or framework familiarity)
• Experience working with international clients or distributed teams
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)
