The Aspen Group (TAG) is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Vice President of Field Human Resources to lead our field human resources function for the Aspen Dental line of business. This executive will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive human resources strategy for over 14,000 hourly and salaried team members, which enhances organizational effectiveness and employee experience while driving business performance across the entire Aspen Dental field organization. The role will oversee a team of senior HR leaders focused on employee engagement, talent planning, management, and development. This is a collaborative and highly visible role that will work cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, IT, the TAG Executive Team, and other various functions to align our people strategies to business objectives to deliver optimal services to the organization.
Essential Responsibilities
Design short and long-term talent strategies in areas such as strategic workforce planning, leader effectiveness, leadership capabilities, talent development, and succession planning that drive the vision, strategy, and execution of field HR functions in alignment with Aspen Dental’s business objectives.
Serve as an advisor to the President of Field Operations on all people-related topics and issues.
Lead organizational design and structure strategy in line with enterprise/business priorities.
Lead and develop a high-performing team of field HR leaders that drive employee engagement, workforce planning, and development.
Partner with talent acquisition leaders to align on workforce planning and to drive hiring initiatives that meet the high hiring demands and constantly changing needs of the business.
Work with talent management and learning leaders to develop, implement, and track talent programs that include succession planning, Career Pathing, and employee development. Ensuring that we have a deep bench of talent to sustain constant growth across all practices.
Lead the identification of objectives and key results for the People team and assess the team’s success based on these metrics.
Lead the people change management process as the company meets the constant evolution of business needs.
Ensure HR policies and programs comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, Field Team Operations Leaders, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders)
Collaborate with HR COE’s to develop and implement HR practices.
Serve as a partner to the employee relations leaders and corporate legal teams to provide counsel on complex employee relations issues when necessary.
Provide interpretation of company policies and procedures in relation to all people disciplines; guide leaders in the administration of people plans to ensure seamless execution of all programs.
Use internal and external data to measure success: learn and improve; analyze trends and develop proactive actions to increase HR efficiencies.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in leading teams and managing change at scale.
15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive role overseeing field HR functions.
Excellent influencing skills at all levels in the organization and flexibility to be proactive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Proven track record in leading HR transformations, leading change management, and driving business impact.
Experience with organization structure and design principles and best practices
Experience leading in a distributed workforce with both an exempt and non-exempt employee population.
Experience in a multi-unit environment, complex, fast-paced, growth-oriented environment is required.
Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring programs/processes that drive business results.
Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.
Must display an entrepreneurial spirit and be comfortable with ambiguity.
Ability to analyze complex people data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.

Salary: Annual pay range: $290,000 - $390,000, plus bonus/incentives
