Senior Vice President Global Communications
The Senior Vice President Communications is responsible for planning and executing all aspects of communication for the company and the brands, as well as developing, leading and executing the communication strategy and plan for the company, in line with agreed outcomes and financial goals. This person will also actively promote and support all Managing Directors’ initiatives, enhancing their visibility and positioning in key markets, and guiding their global exposure to strengthen the company’s leadership presence.
Responsibility:

Drive brand positioning through clearly defined and precisely executed communication actions.

To be directly responsible for developing the communication strategy, implementation, and outcomes for company.

Survey, review and analyze competitive trends, market trends, customer needs and feedback, utilizing the various tools available including external research, and solicited and unsolicited customer feedback on brand performance in line with the defined implementation of all brand elements and brand identity, to initiate changes to product, service and brand element offerings where necessary.

Work closely with company to develop and execute quarterly communication plans.

Be responsible for the development and execution and ongoing management of the communication budget in conjunction with Chief Commercial Officer.

Actively support and promote all Managing Directors through targeted media exposure, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring their leadership profile is aligned with the company’s brand positioning.

Must have the ability to understand both regional and global markets and trends that affect the business of the Resort

Actively promote the company and the leadership team, including Managing Directors’, via key media relations to ensure maximum exposure in appropriate publications.

Must understand pricing implications into company results

Manage all Communications contracts’ with the appointed external agencies to ensure maximum exposure for the company, the brands and individual properties.

Manage the relationship with the appointed external Public Relation agencies to ensure timely, high-quality production in line with the positioning of the brand, effective relationships / service provision for the company and that invoicing is in line with agreed budgets

Enhance the profile of the Managing Directors’ by creating and managing strategic media opportunities, speaking engagements, and thought-leadership content that positions them as industry leaders.

Develop, implement and manage the visiting media program for company, focusing on both international media as well as analyzing the outcomes.

Create strong relationships with key medias withing company’s main source Markets

Priority support and assistance to communicate on new signing and openings

Work closely with the Managing Directors’ to craft and deliver impactful communication strategies that support their business objectives and reinforce the company’s strategic vision.

Identify and manage potential sponsorship agreements and commercial affiliations (brand partner relationships)

Participate in community and professional organizations to represent and help promote the Company.

Must possess strong presentation skills, and strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally

Ability to work effectively within a team environment and take initiative

Must have geographical mobility in both long- and short-term situations

Must perform well under stress and be adaptable to changing work environments

Computer skills - word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
