Role Purpose
The
Senior Vice President – International Private Banking
will serve as a
strategic advisor
to the bank’s overseas private banking offices and subsidiaries. Based in Doha, this senior leadership role will focus on
enhancing advisory quality, client experience, and business development
across international markets.
The incumbent will act as a key subject-matter expert, providing
technical, strategic, and compliance guidance
to global Relationship Managers and Private Bankers, ensuring consistency with the bank’s overall private banking vision and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Advisory & Relationship Support

Serve as the principal advisory resource for international Relationship Managers and Private Bankers.

Provide guidance on complex client portfolios, investment structuring, credit solutions, and international wealth planning.

Support global teams in delivering comprehensive financial strategies for HNW and UHNW clients.

Participate in select client meetings to reinforce the bank’s value proposition and ensure advisory excellence.
Business Strategy & Growth

Collaborate with regional and international private banking leaders to drive growth in client acquisition and AUM.

Identify cross-border opportunities and foster collaboration between the bank’s global offices.

Contribute to the design and execution of the global private banking strategy, with an emphasis on sustainable revenue growth and client satisfaction.

Partner with product and investment teams to expand and refine the bank’s international wealth management offerings.
Governance, Risk & Compliance

Ensure that all international private banking activities adhere to regulatory, legal, and internal compliance standards.

Provide advisory input on complex transactions and client structures to ensure suitability and compliance.

Promote a strong culture of ethics, governance, and client confidentiality across jurisdictions.
Leadership & Knowledge Sharing

Mentor and develop international private banking teams, enhancing their advisory and relationship management skills.

Lead training sessions and workshops on wealth management best practices.

Act as the key liaison between Doha headquarters and overseas offices for all private banking matters.

Represent the bank in global forums, strengthening its reputation as a leading international private banking institution.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

Master’s degree or advanced professional certification (CFA, CFP, STEP, or equivalent) preferred.
Experience:
-
Minimum of
15–20 years
of experience in private banking, wealth management, or investment advisory.

At least
5 years in a senior leadership or advisory role
with exposure to international or cross-border client management.

Strong understanding of
global financial markets

complex wealth management structures
