Senior Video Editor

Experience: 4–7 Years (Production House / Agency experience preferred)

Role Overview

AJ Films is looking for a highly skilled and creative Senior Video Editor who can lead post-production for branded content, films, digital campaigns, and commercial projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong storytelling sense, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects while mentoring junior editors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end video editing for films, commercials, social media content, and digital campaigns
• Translate creative briefs into compelling visual stories
• Work closely with Directors, Cinematographers, Motion Graphic Artists, and Clients to achieve the desired output
• Maintain consistency in brand tone, pacing, and visual style across projects
• Perform advanced editing including color correction, basic sound design, and transitions
• Review, refine, and finalize edits based on internal and client feedback
• Manage timelines and ensure on-time delivery of multiple projects
• Guide and mentor junior editors and interns
• Organize and manage project files, backups, and version control

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong command over Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Good understanding of storytelling, rhythm, pacing, and cinematic flow
• Knowledge of color correction, sound sync, and basic audio mixing
• Ability to edit for different formats (YouTube, Instagram, Ads, Films, Corporate Videos)
• Experience working with raw footage from professional cameras
• Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
