Company Overview

EFP (EcomFreightPrep) is expanding its team and looking for a highly skilled Senior Video Editor with strong e-commerce experience who understands viral content structure and knows how to effectively leverage AI tools in the creative process.

The ideal candidate can transform simple footage into highly engaging, scroll-stopping short-form videos that drive engagement, clicks, and conversions. This role requires someone who understands audience psychology, retention strategies, and performance-based editing for TikTok, Reels, and other short-form platforms.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of professional video editing experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating short-form and e-commerce video work
• Proven ability to create compelling hooks within the first 3 seconds
• Strong understanding of viral content frameworks and storytelling techniques
• Experience editing TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other vertical video formats
• Deep understanding of pacing, retention curves, and viewer psychology
• Experience editing direct-response and product-focused videos
• Strong knowledge of UGC-style content and native platform aesthetics
• Comfortable integrating AI tools into the editing and ideation workflow
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh and original concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to improve underperforming content
• Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly
• Understanding of product marketing angles and conversion-focused editing
• Awareness of current viral trends and platform updates
• Basic shooting or filming skills are a plus
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Tools and Software:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• CapCut
• After Effects
• AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, HeyGen, Veo3, or similar platforms

Basic knowledge of sound design and color grading tools

Responsibilities:

• Edit high-performing short-form videos for TikTok and Reels
• Create engaging hooks, dynamic transitions, and compelling storytelling structures
• Optimize videos for watch time, engagement, and conversions
• Collaborate with content managers, creators, and marketing teams
• Refine raw footage into polished, conversion-focused content
• Test different formats, hooks, and creative angles
• Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve editing strategies
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality
• Organize and maintain editing assets and project files
