We are seeking a senior, autonomous Landscape Architect to own the technical design and production workflow for residential projects. This role is for a designer who translates high-level vision into clear, buildable, construction-ready documents—accurate in scope, quantities, and cost—ready for approval and client presentation.
This is not a conceptual-only or training role. Candidates must already operate at a high residential standard and be able to execute independently from day one.

Core Responsibilities
Design Translation & Site Analysis
- Import PDFs and aerial imagery and analyze site conditions
- Translate design intent into buildable landscape and hardscape scopes
- Delineate turf, planting, irrigation, hardscape, and materials with precision
Production Design, Takeoffs & Estimating
- Produce construction-ready plans suitable for estimating and build
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from plans and aerials
- Generate estimates using company pricing and margin libraries
- Quality-check quantities and pricing to ±2% accuracy
Visual Proposals & Documentation
- Create annotated, color-coded site plans and visual proposals
- Clearly communicate scope, alternates, and phasing
- Deliver complete, approval-ready packages
Ownership & Delivery
- Fully own assigned workload and timelines
- Meet 24–48 hour delivery expectations
- Provide concise daily asynchronous updates and flag blockers immediately
Standards & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain architectural and estimating standards across all deliverables
- Refine templates and details based on field feedback
- Document workflows, best practices, and SOPs
Field Enablement
- Support field teams with photo capture standards, annotations, and map corrections

Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience delivering residential landscape architecture or design-build work
- 1–2+ years using PropertyIntel, Aspire, or comparable design/takeoff platforms
- Strong technical skills: PDFs, aerial imagery, scale accuracy, CAD fundamentals, AI-assisted mapping
- Solid construction knowledge: turf, irrigation, planting, hardscape, materials
- High reliability, extreme attention to detail, and strong QA discipline
- Clear, concise written communication
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

This role is ideal for a senior residential landscape architect who wants ownership, meaningful production work, and long-term alignment—without sales responsibilities, office politics, or micromanagement.
