Senior 5G NR Layer 1 Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior 5G NR Layer 1 Software Engineer to develop and optimize wireless modem software for next-generation 5G products. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in embedded C/C++, 3GPP Layer 1 (PHY) protocols, and modem software development.

Required Skills:

• BS + 5 years, MS + 3 years, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Strong C/C++ programming in embedded environments
• Hands-on experience with 5G/LTE Layer 1 (PHY) development
• Knowledge of PDCCH, PDSCH, PBCH, and related procedures
• Understanding of embedded systems, HAL, and low-level software
• Experience with feature validation, debugging, and performance optimization

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of MAC, RLC, PDCP, and RRC
• Experience with wireless test equipment and commercial modem software
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
