Senior WordPress Developer

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our remote team. As a WordPress Developer, you'll be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including the implementation of themes and plugins. Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems, with an emphasis on providing a user-friendly environment and a clear navigation path for our site visitors.

Candidate Must Posses Experience in:

• WordPress Theme Customization (Advance Level)
• Create Custom Fields using ACF or similar plugins and/or custom code/CSS to ensure customize functionality.
• Figma to WordPress and ensure pixel perfect results.
• Plugin development or customization to existing plugins core files.
• On-site / Off-site SEO optimization.
• cPanel and VPS management.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new features and functionality for WordPress websites.
• Establish and guide the website architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability.
• Integrate and set up WordPress themes and plugins, and make modifications as necessary.
• Conduct website performance tests and optimize for speed and scalability.
• Ensure all technical aspects of SEO are properly implemented.
• Handle website maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual elements are in line with the website's look and feel.
• Provide technical support to clients and team members.
• Stay abreast of new developments in software, trends, and best practices in web development.

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications using Figma Design.
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Knowledge of WordPress Network (Multisite) beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
