Senior WordPress Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, responsive WordPress websites.
• Build, customize, and extend WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Convert design mockups (Figma/PSD/XD) into fully functional WordPress websites with pixel-perfect precision.
• Implement and customize WooCommerce for eCommerce projects, including product setup, payment gateways, and advanced customizations.
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve WordPress-related issues, compatibility problems, and complex functionality challenges.
• Integrate APIs, third-party services, and custom solutions into WordPress projects.
• Ensure cross-browser and mobile responsiveness for all websites.
• Collaborate with designers, content teams, and project managers to deliver projects on time and at the highest quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of custom theme and plugin development.
• Expertise in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Strong experience with WooCommerce development and customization.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).
• Good understanding of MySQL database management and optimization.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and technical site optimization.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Nice to Have

• Experience with headless WordPress (React/Next.js).
• Knowledge of REST API development and integrations.
• Basic graphic design or image editing skills.
• Experience with performance monitoring and security best practices.
