Senior WordPress Developer

Digital Marketing is hiring a Senior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for leading WordPress-based projects from start to finish, including custom theme/plugin development, API integrations, performance optimisation, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. You will also mentor junior developers, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to deliver seamless web solutions.

Responsibility-

• Lead the end-to-end development of WordPress websites, ensuring responsiveness, performance, and scalability.
• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to client requirements.
• Work with ACF, WooCommerce, and other popular WordPress tools and integrations.
• Collaborate with designers to translate Figma/PSD/Wireframes into functional WordPress websites.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and best practices in security.
• Implement REST APIs, third-party integrations, and custom functionalities.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across different browsers and devices.
• Maintain code quality through version control (Git), testing, and documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.

Skills:

• 2+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Hands-on experience with custom theme & plugin development.
• Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, actions, and filters.
• Experience with WooCommerce and payment gateway integrations.
