Position Summary:

We are looking for a Senior WordPress Developer who can build high-quality, scalable, and secure WordPress solutions. The ideal candidate should be strong in custom theme development, frontend technologies, WordPress best practices, work closely with stakeholders, and handle communication with overseas clients.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes

· Work extensively with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for flexible content modeling

· Convert UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, responsive layouts using HTML, CSS, and SCSS

· Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness

· Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following WordPress coding standards

· Manage source code using Git (branching, pull requests, code reviews)

· Handle deployment processes across environments (local, staging, production)

· Optimize WordPress performance, page speed, and Core Web Vitals

· Ensure WordPress security best practices and regular updates

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to themes, plugins, and integrations

· Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when required

· Collaborate with designers, QA, project managers and client for smooth delivery

Required Skills & Expertise:

· Strong experience in WordPress custom theme development

· Hands-on experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)

· Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS

· Good understanding of JavaScript / jQuery

· Experience with Git (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket)

· Experience with deployment workflows (CI/CD is a plus)

· Knowledge of WordPress hooks, filters, and template hierarchy

· Understanding of WordPress performance, caching, and security

· Handle REST APIs and third-party integrations

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsSEO
