We’re looking for a Senior WordPress Developer — someone who knows WordPress inside and out, loves building custom websites, and can lead projects from start to finish.

In this role, you won’t just be writing code. You’ll be helping shape the technical direction of projects, mentoring junior developers, and working closely with designers and project managers to bring ideas to life.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building custom themes and plugins from scratch — no shortcuts, no bloated code
• Turning beautiful designs into responsive, fast, and functional websites
• Making sure everything runs smoothly: performance, security, SEO, and mobile friendliness
• Integrating with tools and services (like CRMs, payment gateways, or APIs)
• Reviewing code, offering feedback, and guiding junior developers
• Troubleshooting issues and coming up with smart, scalable solutions
• Staying up-to-date with new tools, updates, and best practices in the WordPress world

What You Should Know Well

• PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript — the core languages behind WordPress
• How to build and customize WordPress themes and plugins
• Tools like ACF, WooCommerce, Elementor (or other builders)
• Git for version control and working in teams
• Database handling with MySQL
• How to make websites fast, secure, and optimized for search engines
• How WordPress works under the hood — theme hierarchy, hooks, filters, the loop, etc.

It’s Great If You Also Have

• Experience with modern JS frameworks (React, Vue)
• Worked with headless WordPress or REST APIs
• Know your way around deployment tools like Docker or CI/CD
• Contributed to open-source projects (like WordPress itself)
