Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Team Lead who can manage a team of developers while actively contributing to complex WordPress projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure timely delivery of scalable and secure websites.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead and mentor a team of WordPress developers, assign tasks, review code, and ensure best practices are followed. You will oversee the end to end development of WordPress websites including custom themes, plugins, and integrations. You will collaborate closely with designers, QA, and project managers to deliver projects on time and within scope. You will handle troubleshooting, performance optimization, and security improvements. You will communicate with stakeholders to provide updates, manage expectations, and resolve technical challenges. You will ensure proper documentation and maintain coding standards across the team.

Required Skills and Experience

You should have 4 to 6 years of hands on experience with WordPress development. Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress core architecture is required. You must have experience building custom themes and plugins without relying heavily on page builders. Prior experience leading or mentoring a development team is essential. You should have a solid understanding of website performance, SEO best practices, and security. Experience with Git, staging environments, and deployment processes is expected.

Nice to Have

Experience with WooCommerce, REST APIs, and third party integrations is a plus. Familiarity with modern frameworks, headless WordPress, or React based front ends will be an advantage. Agency experience and client facing exposure are preferred.

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs350,000.00 per month
