About the Role

Enoves is looking for a highly experienced Senior WordPress Developer with a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in custom WordPress development, theme and plugin development, performance optimization, and security best practices. The role also requires experience in team leadership, client handling, and working on international projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Build fully custom WordPress solutions (no over reliance on page builders).
• Optimize website performance, speed, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend teams for seamless development.
• Ensure clean, reusable, and well-documented code following WordPress standards.
• Handle website migrations, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, ensuring code quality and best practices.
• Communicate directly with clients and manage project requirements efficiently.
• Work on international client projects and meet delivery timelines.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress updates, trends, and security patches.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience (mandatory).
• Strong command of PHP, WordPress Core, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience in custom theme and plugin development.
• Strong understanding of WordPress security, performance optimization, and best practices.
• Experience with REST APIs, third-party integrations, and WooCommerce.
• Ability to lead a development team and manage client communications.
• Experience working with international clients or projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must be available to work on-site only during 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM.
• Remote work is strictly not allowed.
