About the Role

GEO PTE Academy is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer who can join immediately. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of WordPress theme and plugin development, website optimization, and advanced customization.

You’ll be responsible for developing responsive, fast, and user-friendly websites that align with our branding and performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites (themes & plugins)
• Build custom functionality using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile performance
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve site-related issues quickly
• Manage website migrations, backups, and security
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to deliver high-quality web solutions
• Stay up-to-date with WordPress trends and new technologies

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience in professional WordPress development
• Strong command of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with custom theme/plugin development
• Familiarity with Elementor, WPBakery, ACF, WooCommerce, and REST APIs
• Experience with cPanel, hosting management, and version control (Git)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Must be available for immediate joining
