Senior/Experienced Civil 3D Drafter (Remote)

Engineering Square Pty Ltd is an Australian consulting engineering firm delivering infrastructure, urban development, roads, drainage, renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), substations, wind farms, and solar farm projects across Australia.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil 3D/autocad Drafter to support our growing portfolio of Australian projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of civil engineering drawings and documentation using Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Creation and management of drawing sheets, plan sets, layouts, and plotting
• Civil 3D surface modelling and grading plans
• Production of plan and profile drawings
• Generation of long sections and cross sections
• Road corridor modelling and documentation
• Earthworks modelling and volume calculations
• Stormwater drainage plans, pit schedules, and drainage long sections
• Quantity take-offs and design documentation support
• Drawing revisions, QA reviews, and document control
• Coordination with engineers and project teams

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a civil engineering consulting environment
• Advanced Civil 3D skills
• Advanced AutoCAD skills
• Strong experience preparing engineering drawing packages
• Experience creating sheet sets, layouts, plotting, and drawing management
• Experience producing long sections, cross sections, and plan/profile drawings
• Strong understanding of civil infrastructure and drainage documentation
• Experience in Civil 3D templates/assemblies
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Reliable internet connection
• Suitable laptop/workstation capable of running Civil 3D efficiently

• Roads and highways projects
• Stormwater and drainage design documentation
• Urban development and land development projects
• Infrastructure and municipal engineering projects
• Australian or international consulting experience

Training Provided

Experience with Australian software is not mandatory. Training and mentoring can be provided for:
