Sandia National Laboratories is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Science and Engineering Program Manager to join our dynamic product realization teams within the Inertial Systems and Flight Systems & Avionics Departments. These multidisciplinary teams are dedicated to advancing technology in the field of inertial sensor subsystems and avionics for a variety of defense applications. The teams work on a diverse portfolio of programs, including the longstanding W87 JTA surveillance mission, hypersonic target development, and post-flight data analysis.
As a Science and Engineering Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects from component conception through development and eventually to production. Your primary goal will be to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will play a critical role in collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing resources, and effectively communicating with stakeholders to drive project success.

Your ability to listen to technical issues and guide staff will be essential in fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
There are two positions available on this posting. One will be onsite in Albuquerque, NM. The second can be a remote worker located in any U.S. State or District of Columbia with periodic travel to Sandia NM for work onsite.
$117,500 - $235,700

Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications. Applicants for employment need to be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. If you hold more than one citizenship (i.e., of the U.S. and another country), your ability to obtain a security clearance may be impacted.
Applicants offered employment with Sandia are subject to a federal background investigation to meet the requirements for access to classified information or matter if the duties of the position require a DOE security clearance. Substance abuse or illegal drug use, falsification of information, criminal activity, serious misconduct or other indicators of untrustworthiness can cause a clearance to be denied or terminated by DOE, resulting in the inability to perform the duties assigned and subsequent termination of employment.
