Senior/Staff Layout engineer

Job Description

The Analog Design and Circuit Technology team at MediaTek Egypt is searching for qualified candidates to join our fast-growing team. As a member of this dynamic team, you will get to work on state-of-the-art next generation wireline and optical transceivers for data centers serving cloud infrastructure as well as the growing field of AI and high-performance computing. We are looking for ambitious layout engineers, who are willing to learn, grow and contribute to diverse portfolio of products.

Job Description:

• Own full-custom layout for analog and mixed-signal IPs (e.g., ADCs, PLLs, LDOs, bandgaps, high-speed interfaces)
• Work closely with circuit designers to optimize layout for performance and area.
• Perform detailed floor planning and transistor-level layout
• Ensure designs are DRC/LVS/ERC clean and meet all physical verification requirements
• Support post-layout simulations and sign-off procedures
• Handle LDE, EM/IR, and parasitic effects in advanced process nodes
  
  

Requirement

• BSc in EE or higher
• Proficient in Cadence Virtuoso, Calibre, and physical verification tools
• Deep understanding of analog layout best practices and layout-dependent effects
• Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, team-player and good working attitude.
