SENIOR TEXTILE DESIGNER

I am looking for someone with 3-4 years of experience ideally in an Export Firm of Home Textiles for the role of Textile Designer/Coordinator at Mallow International. Karur.

THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLE. Kindly do not apply if you're not willing to reside/commute/relocate to Karur.

Responsibilities

You will work with a team of Textile Designers and CAD Designers, mostly in-house plus some international collaborators.

You will create print and woven designs as the clients require, with theme boards, colorboards, inspiration boards, etc.

You are self-motivated and capable of motivating your team members.

You are social and can gel well with your teammates.

The job is onsite, meaning you are willing to move to Karur.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with Textile Design degree/diploma with 3-4 years experience in home textiles.

You know conversational level Tamil to communicate with your peers.

You know professional level written English to frame emails to as well as read & understand emails from collaborators.

You know Adobe Photoshop very well.

You can convert Theme boards and Mood boards to commercially viable print/woven patterns.

You can research market trends & understand what's upcoming both in Europe & the USA.

You can understand the cultural differences & design differences between Europe & the USA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
