Position Overview
As an SEO Account Specialist, you’ll oversee and manage multiple client SEO accounts within the residential cleaning industry. You’ll be the main point of contact for clients, ensure SEO work is being executed properly, manage our SEO vendor, and help clients understand their results.
This role combines relationship management, light hands-on SEO work, and strategic oversight. You’ll review and approve SEO recommendations, meet with clients to discuss rankings and performance, and document results each month.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day SEO activities for multiple residential cleaning business clients.
- Oversee and collaborate with our SEO vendor to ensure quality, timeliness, and alignment with client goals.
- Review and approve SEO recommendations and changes, including keyword targeting, on-page optimization, and local listing updates.
- Meet with clients regularly to present reports, discuss rankings, and provide clear, actionable insights.
- Perform light SEO work such as keyword research, on-page SEO, development of city pages.
- Track and document SEO performance monthly, highlighting key metrics and improvements.
- Identify poor performing accounts and work with our vendor to make improvements.
- Ensure all SEO strategies are optimized for local search visibility, including Google Business Profile management and local keyword optimization.
- Manage the writing and publishing of monthly blog posts: review content created by our SEO vendor for accuracy, SEO quality, and brand consistency before posting to client websites.
- Work closely with internal marketing and content teams to support client success.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience managing SEO campaigns or accounts.
- Strong understanding of local SEO strategies and Google Business Profile optimization.
- Experience managing or collaborating with external SEO vendors or contractors.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or BrightLocal. Experience using SE Ranking a plus.
- Excellent communication skills—able to clearly explain SEO concepts and results to small business owners.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple client accounts.
- Basic familiarity with WordPress.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with home service businesses (especially residential cleaning).
- Understanding of SEO reporting tools and best practices for client communication.

Schedule:
- Full-time (40 hours per week) - open Part-Time (30 hours a week)
- Monday–Friday - 8:00 - 5:00 cst

Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
