SEO, AEO & GEO Specialist

We’re looking for a results-driven SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) Specialist to lead organic growth across our portfolio of news platforms and utility/tool-based websites.

This role goes beyond traditional SEO — you’ll optimize content not just for search engines, but also for AI-driven platforms like Google SGE, ChatGPT, and voice/answer engines.

The ideal candidate has proven experience scaling content-heavy sites and programmatic/tool platforms, with a strong focus on traffic growth, rankings, and AI search visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a full-funnel SEO + AEO + GEO strategy
  • Identify high-impact keyword opportunities in:
  • Sports (especially cricket)
  • News/trending topics
  • Utility & tool-based search queries
  • Optimize for:
  • Featured snippets & People Also Ask (AEO)
  • AI-generated search results (GEO)
  • Traditional SERPs
  • Perform on-page SEO:
  • Titles, meta tags, headings
  • Internal linking
  • Schema markup (FAQ, HowTo, Article, Tool schemas)
  • Conduct technical SEO audits:
  • Indexing & crawlability
  • Site architecture
  • Core Web Vitals & page speed
  • Build high-quality backlinks via:
  • Outreach
  • Digital PR
  • Guest posting
  • Optimize content for AI discoverability:
  • Structured data
  • Entity optimization
  • Topical authority building
  • Collaborate with writers to ensure:
  • Every article, match update, and tool page is fully optimized
  • Track performance across:
  • Organic traffic
  • Keyword rankings
  • AI search visibility (SGE presence, featured snippets)
  • Stay ahead of:
  • Google algorithm updates
  • AI search evolution
  • SEO automation tools & workflows

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist / SEO Strategist / Growth SEO Expert
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Google Search Console & Analytics
  • Ahrefs / SEMrush
  • Technical SEO tools
  • Demonstrated success with:
  • News/blog ranking
  • Tool-based or programmatic SEO projects
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Technical SEO (schema, sitemaps, robots.txt, site speed)
  • AEO (featured snippets, voice search)
  • GEO (AI search optimization, entity-based SEO)
  • Ability to:
  • Perform competitor analysis
  • Build data-driven SEO strategies
  • Excellent reporting, communication, and execution skills
