Title: Senior SEO & AI Growth Manager (Independent Contractor)

Engagement: Monthly Retainer | 3-Month Initial Term (Renewable)

Compensation: ₹50,000 – ₹120,000 per month (Based on proven ROI & niche expertise)

About the Engagement

We are a U.S.-based immigration law firm serving immigrant communities nationwide. As the search landscape shifts toward AI-driven answers, we are seeking a forward-thinking SEO & AI Growth Manager.

You will be responsible for ensuring our firm ranks #1 in traditional search results and is the primary cited authority in Google Gemini, ChatGPT, and Perplexity. This is a results-only engagement for a specialist who understands the high-stakes YMYL (Your Money Your Life) category.

Scope of Work & Monthly Deliverables

• AI & Answer Engine Optimization (AEO/GEO): * Optimize content to be cited as a source in Google AI Overviews (AIO) and ChatGPT Search.
• Implement an "Answer-First" content architecture to capture zero-click searches.
• Local SEO & Map Dominance:
• Optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP) to win "Immigration Lawyer near me" searches.
• Manage local citations and schema to build regional trust signals.
• Technical & Authority Governance:
• Advanced Schema Markup (LegalService, FAQ, Attorney, Review) to help AI models verify our expertise.
• Monthly technical audits (Screaming Frog/Ahrefs) to maintain a 90+ health score.
• Content Strategy & E-E-A-T:
• Develop 4–6 SEO briefs per month focused on high-intent immigration practice areas.
• Optimize existing pages to meet Google’s highest standards for Trustworthiness.
• Quality Backlink Development:
• Secure 3–5 high-authority, niche-relevant links monthly.
• Strictly no PBNs or spam link-building.
• Reporting & Accountability:
• Monthly report tracking: Organic Leads, Page 1 Rankings, and AI Citation Frequency.

Contractor Requirements

• 5+ years of SEO experience, with specific success in U.S. Legal or Professional Services.
• Deep understanding of GEO: Proven ability to get sites cited in AI-generated answers.
• Tool Stack: Mastery of Ahrefs/SEMrush, Google Search Console, and GA4.
• Communication: Exceptional English writing skills and availability for a weekly performance call (IST business hours).
• Compliance: Ability to provide professional monthly invoices (GST preferred).

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

• Primary: Increase in organic-qualified leads and consultations.
• Secondary: Visibility in Google AI Overviews for priority keywords.
• Tertiary: Sustained growth in Top 3 rankings for localized practice area terms.
