SEO Assistant - Entry Level (Digital Marketing)

As our agency expands, we are looking for a motivated, tech-savvy individual who is ready to build a long-term career in digital marketing alongside us. This is an entry-level position featuring structured internal training designed to set you up for success. While we will teach you the SEO ropes and how to leverage modern AI tools, candidates must come to the table highly comfortable using computers, online platforms, and digital tech independently.

Main Responsibilities

Content Development & Website Management

• Write and develop SEO-optimized blogs and service pages
• Upload, format, and publish content within WordPress websites
• Optimize page structure, headings, images, and internal linking
• Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to content

Technical SEO

• Implement technical SEO optimizations including:
• Alt text and image optimization
• Internal linking
• Basic schema markup
• On-page SEO improvements
• Assist with backlinking and off-page SEO efforts (training provided)

Google Business Profile Management

• Create and optimize Google Business Profiles
• Manage profile updates and business information
• Respond to client reviews professionally and promptly
• Monitor local SEO performance and visibility

Marketing & SEO Support

• Collaborate with internal marketing and design teams
• Maintain organized records of deliverables and SEO tasks
• Participate in weekly meetings and training sessions
• Support ongoing SEO and digital marketing campaigns

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable using Google Docs, web browsers, and online tools
• Ability to learn new platforms and software quickly
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
• Interest in SEO, digital marketing, or content strategy

Preferred (Not Required)

• Familiarity with WordPress
• Basic understanding of SEO or digital marketing
• Experience using tools such as Google Analytics or Ahrefs

Training Period

All new hires begin with a 30-day training and evaluation period to learn our systems, workflows, and SEO processes.

During this time, employees will receive hands-on training, feedback, and performance reviews to ensure the position is a good fit for both the employee and the company.
