SEO Associate

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SEO & AI Search Associate to lead our search strategy across traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven platforms. This role is ideal for someone who understands the fast-evolving world of SEO, AI search algorithms, content optimization, and search intelligence, and can drive measurable growth in visibility and traffic.

You will collaborate with content, product, and marketing teams to craft data-backed strategies that ensure our brand ranks strongly across Google, Bing, SGE (Search Generative Experience), Perplexity, ChatGPT Search, and other AI-powered search platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, traffic, and conversions.
• Optimize content for AI search engines, including SGE, Perplexity, and conversational search platforms.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, search trend forecasting, and SERP intelligence.
• Improve on-page SEO elements—metadata, headings, internal linking, schema markup, image optimization.
• Implement technical SEO best practices including site speed optimization, crawlability, indexation, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
• Build and optimize AI-ready content frameworks, structured data, and semantic search signals.
• Work closely with content teams to create high-performing, search-optimized content.
• Track, analyze, and report SEO performance using analytics tools (GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.).
• Stay updated with evolving AI search trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
• Run A/B tests and experiments to identify new opportunities for ranking and engagement growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in SEO and/or AI search optimization.
• Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, AI-driven search behavior, and semantic search.
• Strong experience with SEO tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Working knowledge of schema markup/structured data (JSON-LD).
• Ability to analyze data, interpret insights, and make strategy-driven recommendations.
• Familiarity with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, SGE.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with content optimization for long-form and conversational AI queries preferred.
