SEO Content Writer (Senior/Staff)

Location: San Francisco, CA (On-site preferred, Remote considered for exceptional candidates)

About The Role

Hercules is seeking a Senior or Staff level SEO Content Writer to educate the world about Hercules, its functionality, and its importance. You will be responsible for the entire SEO content engine, including keyword identification, content creation, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-value keywords and search opportunities.
• Publish simple, accurate, clear, and useful long-form content.
• Monitor and optimize existing content for rankings, traffic, and conversions.
• Automate workflows using AI tools.
  
  

Qualifications

• Exceptional long-form writing ability (terse, simple, clear, convincing, authentic, useful).
• Strong understanding of SEO (search intent, content structure, on-page SEO, internal linking, content refreshes).
• Commercial sense to write content that ranks and converts.
• Familiarity with technical concepts (APIs, authentication, hosting, role-based access control).
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to significantly enhance workflow productivity (aiming for 50+ high-quality articles per month).
  
  

Work Environment

Hercules operates with principles of shipping fast, striving for excellence, and maintaining a hungry, driven attitude. The founding team works in-office in San Francisco, with a strong preference for in-office work. Remote candidates must be willing to work in US time zones and travel to the office regularly.

Compensation

Salary Range: $100,000 - $250,000 + equity (based on seniority, equity, and location)
