Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth keyword research focused on beauty, skincare, and makeup categories.
- Optimize product pages, category pages, and landing pages for organic visibility
- Improve on-page SEO (meta titles, descriptions, headers, alt text, content optimization).
- Work with the design and development teams to improve technical SEO elements (site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability).
- Optimize and monitor SEO for e-commerce marketplaces (like Amazon, Nykaa, or Flipkart if applicable).
- Implement and manage off-page SEO strategies (link building, blogger outreach, PR mentions).
- Track and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Collaborate with content writers and marketing to develop SEO-optimized blog and video content for skincare and cosmetics education.
- Conduct competitor analysis and industry trend monitoring for continuous improvement.
Skills & Requirements:
- 1–2 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferable in e-commerce, D2C, or beauty/wellness industry.
- Strong knowledge of Google algorithms, on-page/off-page SEO, and technical SEO.
- Proficiency in SEO tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento.
- Experience optimizing content and pages for product discoverability and conversion.
- Understanding of buyer psychology and search intent in the beauty and skincare niche.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams – content, design, tech.
