Job Summary
Sekel Technologies is seeking a motivated and talented SEO Executive to join our dynamic Digital Marketing team. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about search engine optimization (SEO), digital marketing, and content optimization. You will play a key role in keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, link building, technical SEO audits, tracking organic performance, and implementing SEO strategies to increase visibility, rankings, and organic traffic for our website.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for traffic growth and ranking improvement.
- Implement On-Page SEO strategies: content optimization, meta tags, headings, URL structure, internal linking, schema markup (Schema.org), and page speed optimization.
- Execute Off-Page SEO strategies: link building, outreach, backlinks acquisition, and directory submissions.
- Ensure compliance with EEAT (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) principles to enhance the trustworthiness and credibility of content
- Monitor and report on organic search performance metrics including keyword rankings, traffic, impressions, CTR, and conversions
- Use SEO and analytics tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Metricool, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools.
- Conduct technical SEO audits: crawl issues, site speed, mobile responsiveness, indexation, and structured data implementation.
- Collaborate with content writers, designers, and developers to align SEO efforts with overall digital marketing campaigns.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of hands-on experience as an SEO Executive / SEO Analyst / Digital Marketing Executive.
- Strong knowledge of On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, backlinks, Schema (Schema.org), and EEAT in SEO.
- Proven ability to build high-quality backlinks and optimize content for search engines and users.
- Proficiency in tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Metricool, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret SEO reports and data.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in technical SEO audits and resolving crawl errors, indexing issues, and site architecture problems.
- Familiarity with content strategy, blog optimization, landing page SEO, and local SEO (Google Business Profile optimization).
- Hands-on experience with competitor analysis, backlink audits, and SEO gap analysis.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, etc.)
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user experience (UX) for SEO.
- Strong reporting and presentation skills to showcase organic growth results.
