We are seeking a highly experienced, results-oriented SEO Manager who will take complete ownership of organic growth and performance across our portfolio of e-commerce brands. This role is ideal for someone who is strategic, analytical, and capable of directly connecting SEO initiatives with sales, revenue, and long-term business growth.
This is not an agency-style coordination role. We are looking for a hands-on leader who wants to own outcomes, make strategic decisions, and drive measurable impact across our brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and manage end-to-end SEO strategies aligned with business objectives across multiple eCommerce websites.
- Lead and manage the SEO team by setting priorities, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely execution with clear accountability and reporting.
- Own all aspects of SEO including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, ensuring adherence to best practices and evolving search trends.
- Perform in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis to identify scalable growth opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with content writers, designers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO intent, brand tone, and visual consistency across all content assets.
- Plan and execute sustainable, high-quality link-building strategies focused on relevance, authority, and long-term value.
- Oversee technical SEO initiatives including site audits, page speed optimization, schema implementation, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
- Track performance using analytics and SEO tools, translating data into actionable insights and clear reports for management.
- Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates, AI-driven search changes, and evolving user behavior to keep strategies competitive.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate SEO team members to ensure continuous improvement, skill development, and ownership.
Modern SEO & AI Readiness
To succeed in today’s evolving search environment, the SEO Manager must:
- Have a strong understanding of Google’s Search Generative Experience (SGE) and its impact on search visibility and intent.
- Apply E-E-A-T principles (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) across SEO and content strategies.
- Effectively use AI-powered SEO tools such as SurferSEO, Frase, ChatGPT, Jasper, or similar platforms for research, optimization, and automation.
- Make data-driven decisions using GA4, Google Search Console, and advanced SEO analytics platforms.
- Ensure strong alignment between SEO, UX, and conversion optimization, with every action tied to measurable business outcomes.
Technical Skills & Tools
- Strong expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Tag Manager.
- Experience with Magento or other eCommerce CMS platforms is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of Core Web Vitals, mobile-first indexing, and structured data (schema markup).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers to resolve crawlability, indexing, and performance issues.
- Familiarity with SEO automation workflows and AI-driven optimization tools.
Qualifications & Performance Expectations
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience delivering organic growth, traffic improvements, and revenue impact for eCommerce websites.
- Strong leadership mindset with a sense of ownership, accountability, and strategic thinking.
